Its finally Friday...oof
Jun. 21st, 2024 08:46 amSo, not sure folks saw my long post here but it was all of the weekend things and other stuff. One of those things was that our friend Jessie visited and then went back into the hospital...this time at Mayo. Well, the big boy hospital got him fixed. The drugs he's been on for his Wegeners had destroyed or inhibited his bone marrow from doing its job. He's been on this drug for 10 years and I guess they have new one that don't do that so they have been giving him blood transfusions, new drugs and in a few months he should be okay. Or as okay as he always is with Wegeners.
Wander is also home and adjusting. The ramp is working well. We still need to do a a few things around the house and trying to find a trusted plumber to do the snake, scope needed is a thing but we have a work around for now. So, yeah. But we have folks taking her to her appts and her radiation ends today. So more to come on that as things change or don't.
I've not hit the gym this week. Tuesday I was at teh doc, Wednesday I felt blearghled and last night we had a happy hour for my systems lead Andrew. Yesterday was also 110 with bad air quality with dust/fire particles from NM. That air caused some freak rapid build thunderstorms to hit and Mel who had planned to spend all day in the shop left about 2pm with the rain and wind picked up and it was stifling.
So Today is work from home and some errands and my haircut got cancelled. Sighs. But that is okay. Tomorrow Mel and I hit the jeweler to design the ring and pendant for the mom diamonds, then Ari and I going to go thru my closet to purge and maybe the fabric....though I haven't added fabric since last year's purge. So clothes it will be and maybe some yarn purged? I dunno. We shall see what I dig up for fabric wars for Willa to sell. So easy weekend ahead I hope. (crosses fingers) cause the following weekend we will be up north. :)
The javelinas have visited a few times now and we've had two very friendly doggos come through. I think they jump the fence at their house and come visit. But Tuesday we should have gates and life will be nice.
