Monday was way more eventful a day than I needed or wanted. Course I just read my email and things are more dire than we expected I guess. Sighs. anyhoo..today is another day. I got home yesterday and drove through lots of rain which I asssumed would hit us about the time I would be half way through my bike ride. nope, didn't rain a drop but I was so stressed out I'm not sure if it would have helped. Sighs. I did manage to clean up the house and get things ready for scribble, finish a tunic and clean up part of my studio. So, not an afternoon wasted. I had a few beers but I really haven't been drinking much at all in weeks and it felt good to let go for a bit. Course my headache is still here...I'm sure that is all about stress and the weather. I'm giving blood today and I hope to start working on my armor after work. Depending on how I'm feeling, how late I'm working I'll probably ride and then stay home. I just kinda need some me time.
Anyhoo..scribble last night was in good productive form. We have set ourselves a challenge and it looks like it should be fun. I finished the scroll that last week looked hideous and then I worked the shading at the demo. I added some touches to it and its marvelous. Really, really fun. Ari and I looked at the other completed things in my case and picked the hand for them. I need to work on practicing bastarde now. I brought a book to photo copy for practice and we shall see how that goes. I'd actually rather be doing that today but this job pays the bills. Just need to make it through. Calm and collected and without starfishes.
