Bathroom plumbing 3 : Ivan 0

Yeah...sink still not working...he got it working and then it leaked a tiny bit...went to tighten the fixture and the stem of the sink sheared off. He told me...threw the part down, grabbed a beer and I keep hearing the sound of power tools. I think I will go to lowes and get a new globe for the light and maybe see what I can get...course I'm awfully tired and might just wait till tommorrow.

Further investigation shows its an IKEA specific part...hmmm...calling the help line.

Help line called, they are sending us a new part...seems they've redesigned it so it doesn't do what actually happened...so monday part will come and we're gonna jerry-rig things to have the drain work for people to wash their hands etc.

Hey. Let me know if you guys need a guy. I have a plumber/handyman I call for all of these things. He is GOD with anything pipes. Me. I don't eff with it. Because, I had the VERY same reaction as Mel.

He is not expensive either.

That sucks about the plumbing issues. Hopefully Mel gets it the next time round. :)
