We survived....
I had not realized what a big ball of stress I was leading up to the first day of Kindergarten. Wow. I felt very free and focused at work which is a change and I was happy to get done and feel like I accomplished things even though it was just electronic things that aren't tangible unless you physically print them. Only one weird setback for pickup which I need to call the school about but other than that he had a good day.
I left work and got dinner at Beyond Bread before heading to knit night. I started on my very first afterthought heel for a sock which was daunting since no one had really done them at knit night. I got things picked up but messed up one of the corners a bit but I fixed that without too much of it showing. So I have my first sox done for Ravellenics 2016 in the WIPWrestling event.
I still need to weave in ends but one sock is done and I will get the other one done this weekend in between cosplay stuff. The heel fits really well.
And that was my night. I was focused on doing the heel and was still spinning on how to accomplish the vision in my head for the hair pieces for the lolita which![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
danabren helped with this AM. So that was good.
Tonight I will try to get back on the cosplay train and get those done which will check that off of my list. So, not too shabby though not a lot to show yet.
