Boy is it monday...

I didn't sleep well, was cold most of the night due to mel and the cats stealing my covers. I slept in by quite a ways this morning and got in about 7am. Then when I got back from getting coffee I heard my pager go off and one of our guy engineers collapsed on the floor during a meeting. I got an emergency production stop page. Still trying to get someone to call me back from the floor but I'm not gonna walk into that choas. Add to that I didn't go to my 715am meeting well, hmmm.

The arm is very stiff this morning. I'm not sure if its from over use, it being too cold due to no covers or just that is healing. Me and the iburpofen are good friends. I'm pretty sure that the headache is from too much beer but I can cope with that (I luv water +emergen-C). Plus I need to get my nasal spray script refilled...that is also causing headachey goodness.

Well, I was a bit later than normal today...I hope to work back the time and then maybe get on my bike for a very short ride. Not sure if the arm will support me. I might just put on my shoes and go around the block to see. OKAY OKAY...I won't go....

We shall see how that works out...I have lots of laundry to do and pants to finish. Land stuff has to be organized today...got some data reduction to do and then scribble.

Excuse me, young lady, but weren't you specifically told to rest that arm? I do not think cycling counts as resting the arm, since it will be bearing pressure!

Follow yer doctor's orders, missy! :P

Ummm...I am fairly sure the doctor didn't put an extra note on his instructions that says "rest the arm, except for short bike rides as defined by your hubby (the biking fan)" If that caveat is present, I will happily help you tie your biking shoes on. If not, don't ride the damn bike. Take hubby-san for a long, fast walk around the neighborhood.

I bet if you ask nicely, he would even hold your (good) hand while you two walk together.
