Back in the saddle...so to speak

With the finishing of my CCC project I have a list of scroll/painting commissions I need to work on. Its only 3 things but one of them has been languishing for well over a year in process and a year before that just marinating in my muses juices.  So I have to get that stuff done.  So starting at the top is a small quick scroll with painting and calligraphy.  I got most of the painting base work done on Monday but the 2weeks I spent on that final dress really did a number on my hands.  I have the tendon in my left thumb between the second bone and the tip just enflammed and tight.  I had tweaked it a few weeks ago and the hand sewing and holding things even with my third hand assistant just took its toll. The entire thumb is twice the size it should be...and that isn't normal or hasn't been since I broke it years ago fighting.  So painting etc I have to do in small bursts.  Every other night to get things done I think.  But I'm really left hand dominant for lots of things like drinking coffee, driving, holding my phone/book etc.  Gonna look up some stretches to see if I can help it out. and put on my compression gloves to see if that helps too. (puts them on...oh, yeah this is nice).

I wore new weight lifting gloves on my left hand last night and that helped at the gym. I've been really diligent about the gym which is good and I've been diligent about my food intake and tracking my macros.  Lots a few pounds and for now I'm working on that.  Since I've gained back about 10 pounds from where I was a year ago. That is okay, things have been weird. I accept that but I don't want to be fluffy as much so back to the work and not drinking my feelings so much.

So that is the state of things....just trudging along.
