Monday...
Well, work was odd. I had a class during the morning (4 hours) and then got hit with many, many things in the next few hours of work. Kinda exhausting. Got home and mel was grumpy. Guess he had a stressful day. I suggested vodka and brownies and what do you know...his mood got better. I put Practical Magic into player and sat with the girls and embroidered. I finished #6 and moved onto the black outlining on #7 (of 8). Got dinner when the movie was over and started watching I, Robot and then it was time for scribble. I guess in the time I was getting dinner heated up richard, blossom and curran arrived. I got outside with scribble stuff just in time to see everyone, get wine/munchies from curran and say hi/bye to richard. Got to scribble, handed out baronial paper to Sioux and then got to work on Ivan's scroll after a slight detour to another scroll. I got done with my two parts except for white work and cleanup and then chatted with the girls about things while I finished up the outline on #7.
I got home and found that curran was staying the night. Why he didn't say anything to that effect when he called on Sunday, I don't know. I got a shower and chatted with the husband, soaked my hands and read for a bit. Awoke this morning with butterfly snuggled up with me. Mel and I and the cats were bookended and cute. We hit the alarm for an extra snooze and got going with our day. Curran was heading out for breakfast and I don't know what else. I plan on working my 9 hours, coming home and finishing the embroidery and hopefully get the appliqués onto the trim pieces and go to bed maybe on time...who knows. So, all should be good as long as I can get things done today at work.
