OMG AM I tired
Jun. 8th, 2004 07:11 amWe moved Southern Scriptorium to our house last night because Matt was out of town. That put mel and I into cleaning mode which was just fine. Since we cleaned on Friday the house really wasn't that bad and mel had cleaned the kitchen top to bottom on Saturday (I mean everything except pulling out the appliances to get all the gunk under them!)
I was putting clothing away and putting trash into an empty shoe box in the bedroom. I had folded the towels and put them in the linen closet to come back to have the shoe box over turned and all of the kleenex and dryer sheets dumped on the floor. Butterfly was looking sheepish since she had a swatch of purple silk in her mouth which had been in the shoe box. I swear my cat has a silk fetish. Any piece of scrap silk she will dig it out of the trash to play with it. Mel calls my Butterfly the "Plastic chewing, trash digging kittie." It is so apropos!
We Cecelia- Megan showed up about 7 and we were looking through this cool CD she had made on bibles for the illuminations and some of them were quite groteseque. Though lots of cool battle scenes for scrolls. yeah!
Mina showed up and we had to raz her about not telling us she was now a member of the Blood of Fenris. She got all bashful and blushed! Gotta love the girl. We started painting and Jules showed up a little bit later. We gabbed and had good scribble fun. Jules and Mina are going to be wonderful scribes. *Yeah!!!*
Though there is a pattern in the barony that we were noticing. Our boys seem to be sucked into video games and ignoring us completely. Even Mel has been sitting down on weekends for 9 hours to play a computer game! We all had a story that ran "I wanted to *snuggle* and he was busy playing with his
