Getting closer to the weekend...
Jul. 1st, 2004 07:46 amBy the end of yesterday the ankle was complaining and I had to make dinner which was good but everything kept going wrong. But it turned out delicious and mel got some much needed work done on Tatiana's shoes which need to be finished by tonight. So, after putting on a plum cordial and serving dinner I veg'd on the couch watching the first 1/2 of The Mummy. The cats were snuggly and cute but I did eventually drag myself off the couch to work on the scroll to discover that the copies I had made were not to the correct dimensions. They'd skewed the picture in the book so a normal enlargement on the copier did work. So, I sat reading I'm Just Here for the Food by Alton Brown and hit the bed really early while mel played the part of a shoe making elf.
So, this morning on a whim I grab the book with the manuscript page to see if the copier here could make percentage adjustments in each direction since it ended up being approximately 50% in the length and 20% in the width after some quick math. The new Xerox they installed monday did the trick. So now I should be able to sketch things out before class tonight depending on how quick I can make dinner. (HMMMMmmm....cajun catfish and zatarans redbean/rice.)
On the drawing front I should be done with my last assembly today and still be able to know out somemore documentation for A&S. Yeah!
Well, gotta get cracking and get another cup of joe! Today the coffee fairy brought in "Pava New Guinea."
