Busy weekend. Friday was painting and sewing and trying not to get sick. Oh, so very tired. Then Saturday I was up kinda early and started in on dishes, laundry and painting. That would be the day. Saturday night I headed to Desert TKD for Master Malm's 6th Degree testing. Very cool Can we say 540 round kicks...yeah, wow.

Then we headed to Bill/Perrin's Party. Had a good time but just tired, so I sat in the kitchen and drank coffee. Too cold to sit outside without a wool coat or some alcohol. We tried leaving at midnight but mel being the social butterfly it took us an hour to leave.

Then sunday dawned early for me again. I cleaned up the kitchen, headed grocery shopping and planned out the projects for the day. Mel wasn't feeling too hot but did manage to put his two beers into secondary fermentation and ink 4 scroll blanks for me. I made chilli for war, made dinner, bottled 4 cordials (plum, cherry, apricot and raspberry) and almost got my gambeson finished. I even put all of my laundry away that I had washed on Saturday and was in bed by 9am.

We got woken up at 4 this morning with a weird noise. It sounded like someone/thing had hit the security gate on one of the doors. Mel investigated. He thinks it was someone trying to get in since the carport light was out..I think it was an animal like bird trying to fly into the patio cause there was bird poo on my truck this morning. Thats the first time thats happened since its under the car port. Whatever. It took me a while to get back to sleep and when I did I had really weird dreams...Really weird. So, working, yeah, its monday.

Oh, only watched a few commercials on the SB but my fave was the Ameriquest with the white persian cat and the speghetti sauce. Hopefully I can stay productive and not get sick this week.

So, I'm waxing about crockpot meals and how they are never the same twice. Example: I'm munching on the leftovers from yesterday which was a roast type meat substance that I had covered with minced onions (dryed), salt, pepper, mushrooms, red wine vinegar, green onion tops and a littl bit of water. Its delicious but now I wonder if I'll ever be able to get the same result again since I have no idea what the meat (pork or beef) was that was in the dish. I think its beef but uncertain of the cut...interesting but very tasty.

Anybody else have issues with repeatability of crockpot meals?
