Monday...hmmm
Apr. 5th, 2005 08:02 amWell, its been an interesting few days. I brought the rescue remedy to work. Hopefully that will help.
I could not get anything started or completed yesterday and old projects that were completed came dropping back onto my desk because somebody didn't understand it (it was one signature away from release). Now I get to do more investigation cause I don't understand the markups but eh, its a job.
Still bummed about not getting that house. I shouldn't be thinking about it...the right one will come along but its just something to ponder longingly about. Which I shouldn't. I have more important things to do than think about what might have been. So, hopefully today will have less drama..but I doubt it. That just seems to be the entropy cycle right now.
So, gots home, headed to the church, chatted with Lorna and told her how much everyone enjoyed the site. She said we're welcome to use it again if needed. Yeah! Then I headed to big lots to pick up the clear containers to put mel's yarn collection into. I want to open up the sewing room to see if that will work. Plus the new house we won't be shutting things off like we have been with the sewing room unless its just storage...so this is the trial run to see if the kitties can handle the temptation of looms etc. Then I got home and mel had cooked up the chicken to put into friday's lentil stew. Very tastey but I was testy and ate in the bedroom, snuggled with the girls and read a book until it was time to get ready for scribble. While I was having "me" time mel had cleaned up (though it didn't take much) the kitchen. Then it was scribble goodness. Got the A&S scroll blank ready for Kinko's...though I have to make some adjustments on the copier since I was a dork and didn't leave room for the name...sighs...silly me. Got a few more cyphers turned in with paint completed and so I will get to work on the calligraphy this weekend. We'll see what Saturday holds...decided to see Sin City on Wednesday with mingo. Maybe Jake and Meg too...we shall see. Had
senach stop over and Ed and Candace. Zippy also made the trek with Mina so a full house but we didn't seem to crowded. At least things are getting done.
So, here's to a more productive and smuphy day!
