Mental Health Day
May. 12th, 2005 03:34 pmSo, last night we got off of work, waited to sign papers, signed papers and then headed to metro for dinner, our fav waiter was there and then shopped for legos. Got the shreiking shack, the knight bus and a couple of other fun ones for way cheap. Then we headed to arts night which was good. Got some good ideas on presentation. Had an epiphany on one of my entries that when I talked with a friend they thought quite perfect and humourous. So, all good. Came home and dropped into bed asleep.
I woke up about 9am. The girls were purring and the bed was warm and it was still chilly in the bedroom. So, nice. I got up and made coffee and hot buttered toast and attempted to get on the internet. Didn't work, tried everything...didn't work. Kept trying throughout the day while I did laundry, played with new lego's and napped with the girls.
So, I missed tea not realizing it was earlier in the day. When I called about noon I felt weird and decided it was best to stay home and I napped for a few hours. Plus I had to play with legos. I'm trying to stay awake right now. So, had lots of last minute prize donations...wish people would have said stuff sooner but hey we're all taken care of now. So, class tonight...at 5...better wake up. LOL.
Tomorrow entails errands: UPS store, Costco, Petsmart and Bed Bath and Beyond. Should be good. Then testing and then "Sushi, Sake and Six String Samurai" with the gaming group. All is pretty good. So glad I took the day off...now I should call karen to see if we get the keys today or tomorrow.
