Jul. 31st, 2005 10:10 amSo, got going on the white work yesterday on the C&I and still hated it but went and gave blood, got back, had lunch, got ready for the demo. We got there about 1:30 to discover that the demo was at 11-1...uhm...hello! We announced it as 2pm at the officer's meeting!(no one corrected us) and if you had hotmail..all of the emails about it on the list NEVER got through...cause I've chatted with a few other people who use hotmail and they all showed up at 2pm. Well we headed out for coffee with magdalen, amber, kiera and manny (plus their girls). Had a good time..I still feel supremely stupid but we wouldnt' have been on time anyway since my blood appointment was 10:30 and I wasn't out until noon. But hey, water under the bridge.
So, after coffee mel and I headed to mingo's to check on the kitchen remodel. New stove was electicaled up, tile was being spaced and cut and they wanted to mastik it and grout before we all headed out for sushi. By this point I'd made up my mind that the scroll was not my best work, that I wouldn't be happy with it EVER and that thank the gods I have cordials always in season. So, I get home, ignore the C&I and start putting trim on A&S #1. Got the collar trim done just as mingo and tati arrive for dinner. Sushi was good. Expensive but damnable tasty except for the roe rolls...ewww... Then back to our house to help tati research her tablet weaving and I finished sewing on the cuff trim just after they left. I had put Practical Magic in the player and started in on finishing the flat felled seams and the new hem on A&S #2. So, today I'll be working on finishing A&S #2 which just needs one last 5 inch seam flat felled and some really quick embroidery (just a line around the collar/cuffs). And finishing up the tweezers and getting further on my bracelet decoration (not great right now but getting better).
So, feeling much less stressed...not happy but less stressed so, documentation should be finihsed up monday at work minus scanning stuff and getting it inset with the text.
