Monday Mayhem
Dec. 6th, 2005 07:10 amWell, the day started off bad (just after my post)and degraded for a while. After my meetings the boys downstairs made me smile, laugh and realize that its not just me..this stuff happens and we're all crazy with the "can't get anything done" syndrome. Plus we had a good hoot about stoopid stuff and it was fun. Much needed. So, I buckled down and got things done...not anywhere close to everything but some progress or at least things off of my to do list. After work I made some necessary phone calls (all good on that front for once), got pictures from coronation and southern off of my camera and now need to find the disk for the camera software so I can batch process them better. I then headed to walgreens to get the prints for the xmas cards and then picked up me for pre dinner drinks at Meto Grill.
We met mughi, drew & mary and mughi's cousin Troy for dinner at Bamboo Club. Still not impressed with the resturant but it was okay. Would have liked to have stayed at Metro since 1)James was working, 2)James refilled my beer cause it was the last one from the old keg and 3) better food..not so much sugar. but the company made up for it. I then headed back to Walgreens to pick up the prints and then to scribble with my xmas cards. Had a nice time but I realized I was uber tired but hey, it all works. Got home and mughi and mel were having beer and chatting. The girls like the mughi and butterfly was having fun chasing shadows around the xmas tree cause the lights were on. Got to be late again but hey, I can sleep in on Friday (if I don't have to work).
So, today I hope will be better. I need to talk with my counter part in texas and see if we can just push forward on a drawing change and then figure out the lower level issues since I'm meeting with the guy who designed the poorly built model for insight and verification of dimensions sometime today. So, yeah. Things have to be brighter.
