Friday night Saturday Day
Jan. 21st, 2006 06:28 pmFriday I got almost all of my sewing to the stage I wanted. I pleated waistbands and cuffs on two pair of fighting pants during D&D but I didn't get the fighting coats sewn...that will hopefully be tonight depending on plumbing issues...more on that in a bit...
Game was good but evil badness ensued. We all almost got killed...barghast's are bad..especially when they portal into your town in an invisibility sphere and try to kill our count. Luckily I was smart and sent peasant runners to warn the count so no sneaky ness could ensue. So, again we were victorius. Next up..the Count Hately which has taken own our towns for their own...yeah.. this is a fireball from the rear.
Got to bed about 1am...slept until 7am...ugh. Not good sleep. Got up, ventured forth to Egg Connection with Mina/Zippy. Good breakfast grub. Then to Casa Grande for a small but nice practice. We ended the day with pizza and beer. Mel and I and stefan all drive home. Good conversation, very good. Get home, walk in the door and I hear rain on the roof. Well, its not rain, one of the cooler pipes has sprung a leak cause of the cold and it wasn't emptied cause the ball valve for the shut off was broken and wouldn't shut down all of the way. So, after much finaggaling and richard helping the valve is off and he and mel are at this moment off getting a new part at home depot. I 1)need to go potty bad and 2)kinda want a shower. I think I will solve 1) by asking the neighbors and two will be solved later. But I should be able to get the coats sewn and hopefully the braclet blanks cut out to having filing fun during baronial.
I'll update with later news on the plumbing...but remember folks...I always fix stuff now so it doesn't come back to make things worse. Mel said the temp fix would be fine...yeah.
