Not only was yesterday definately a MONDAY, but today seems to be one too. Monday was spent trying to get ahead at work and failing. I got pulled off on a boondoggle that is stoopid and its still affecting me Tuesday. Got home and then started in on mel's gambeson. Its lining still doesn't hang right but I pinned and sewed it anyway. Its at the f* it stage of things. I then trudged off to Sushi with the last mingo little fishy day. Sighs. It was good, good conversation etc. Then off to Trader Joes and then to megan's. I worked on my A&S scrolls and didn't finish them. I think the naturalistic one is a done as I can get it. The flowers aren't quite right. The Aberdeen beastiary needs white work and the cellarry needs white work finished. Got home, frustrated with not a productive day. It seeped into my dreams and then into work this morning.

I was about to get my coffee and oatmeal when the phone rings. The boondoggle from yesterday still wasn't fixed and I needed to be on the shop floor immediately to solve it. So, I got there to find no one that had to talk to me and hardware that I couldn't find fault in. Then I went to my morning meetings, back to the floor with the interested parties and they too could not find the issue that had plauged second shift. So that little project gets to wait until 2pm when people arrive. I then hit another meeting and am now finally at my desk with a cup of joe. Got lots to finish today. Mel and I won't be at practice, he's going to kung fu and I'm staying home to clean up the house for guests and sewing. I need time to myself I think. I'm grumpy and that just needs to stop.

So in the fit and vane of "My house is a mess I must clean" I have tackled the guest room and cleaned up the craft room to be storage and useful. Plus I took down one of the xmas trees and decorations and will hopefully do more later.

I have dinner thawed and will get it on in a minute. Richard and mel are at Lowes buying wood for looms and I will get the other sleeve done on mel's coat so he can sit and attach trim at some point maybe. The blankets will be washed tonight and I hope to get our bed linens washed as well. Cause richard is right...fresh sheets coming home from war are great.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] scribe_ari and [livejournal.com profile] corrinemacleod operation pounce has been initiated. We shall see if we have to scrub the mission or not.

On the fun plus side during the clean of random stuff under the piano we found the stitch toy of butterfly's happiness and she's been tossing around, chasing it and growling at it for the last 1/2 hour.
