Friday was hard...I couldnt' get things done at the house in a reseanable manner and I was just feeling ucky. Headachey and tired...blah. But I did get things packed up and purchased and we left for Ari's about 5:45. Got there at 7 or so after having to take the scenic route (literally, took SR-83 since I-10 was closed). Had nummy curry with markov and linnet while mel and ari ran errands (beer and hole punch). Stayed up chatting a bit and then zonked out.
I had a hard time sleeping just cause I've really only had one night in my own bed in 7 days and I'm a temperature freak..I like to sleep when it is frigid and I like my cats to snuggle with me...plus mel was snoring..just not good combinations. Anyhoo. Saturday dawned not too early, had a nummy breakfast and then headed out to collegium. I took a few classes saturday: 1 hour of landscape painting, Jewish Cooking (where I got fed), Horse Accesories and SCA uses for Blackwork. I taught my leather dyeing class which seemed to be well recieved. Everyone got to walk away with a bookmark which I think everyone enjoyed. I know I like to take things home from classes. After court (which was short but entertaining)we headed back to ari's for drunken pot roast and it ended up being quite a shindig. We had potroast, beer, cake and Ari and I celebrated our b-day's with friends. Shoshana got me a really cool tea service (which I forgot, silly me at Ari's, I'll need to get that). Had a late night up and chatting but slept better with the fan on..though mel was not happy with the fan drying out his sinuses and grumbled.
The mornig was early since Balomeer decided to knock down a lamp in the room and wake us up...well me at least. But breakfast was going and coffe was ready so I just got up. Which was good cause with lots of people and showers and getting ready it worked out well. Though I felt stuffy and headachey like all of the weekend. I am not feeling my normal self..too much travelling I think. I took a class on field commanding presence, mapmakers in history and then taught my run class, took a class on nordic poetry and then taught my documentation class. Then we had court outside. Mel was feeling still ucky so he didn't fight but we had a nice meetin with TE of Mons and then headed out with Rois, Meahbd, Blossom, Emma and Wander for dinner at Chilli's. It was nice. Got home and mel did laundry and drank rum while I read a book. The cats were snuggly...I think they know dad is going on a trip today.
Slept good in my own bed and dropped mel off at the airport at 5:50am. I've been going through email etc and have almost ingested enough coffee to get my brain moving but I'm still tired and feeling weird. My left eye is all watery and my sinuses keep wanting to drip. Oh, well. I plan on working hard today and then getting home and cleaning up the house a bit, possibly getting an underdress cut out and then off to scribble. I also hope to pick up some blue linen at Joann's this week and order some more lightweight white linen from denver fabrics. Cuase mel requested lighter tunics for summer...and its a good idea to get all of our stuff up snuff. Just hope I'm feeling better...we shall see.
