Friday uber busy at work...lots of stuff going on and trying to get things done. All I have to say is "you don't need a charge number for 10 minutes of work..." Got home and started in on cleaning the house and getting things for fleur ready. Got things settled and watched mel crash and burn..he was tired so we skipped kung fu in lieu of him sleeping and me getting more things done, like laundry. Food was good. Mel made a vegtable sauce for the the pasta with beef/bacon to add in after mary got her bowl. She had made nummy coconut cupcakes for all of us. The game was good. I dusted lots of skeletons. We missed [livejournal.com profile] archer64 since mel was a gubber and didn't remind him we had a game. I finished my weaving during the game and got one of the garter set sewn to their buckles and had to wash the new weaving to get the second set.

Got up on Saturday and finished the second set of garters. We got everything loaded and were onsite on time. Court started about 10 mins past the schedule and we rolled through a wonderful day. The Luncheon by [livejournal.com profile] snotblossom, Kathy and Varr was delicious. Lots of veggies, wonderful pasta salad and fresh sliced meats and cheeses. Coffee was a hit but I need to remember to bring the box of sugar. It was funny how many people didn't understand the "light has to be on for coffee to be ready" with the industrial pot. The attendence was awesome. We had such good entries from everyone. I had an extremely hard time selecting my two people to give my prize to...it was really hard but I picked [livejournal.com profile] emma_1552 and Lord Sythe. The prayer beads were nice, the calligraphy was good and I hope they both enter kingdom soon. Finished up the day with a fun court. Got to give [livejournal.com profile] atensibilla and Kae their boar verts. Course, we had fun with sibilla cause we gave it to her after the dad speech from Ivan about entering A&S's events etc. The look was priceless. Got home by 4:30 and we sat and had snacks, dinner drinks and movies with [livejournal.com profile] archer63. Ultraviolet was pretty beautiful to watch and pretty neat to see. A few odd points but I liked it. I was zerospace to shove things into...got to be kinda early and slept good.

Sunday dawned and I made homemade buttermilk pancakes with fresh strawberries and creme. So good. We lazed about and watch disney movies. I got things cleaned up around the house, got dishes done and my craft room back to normal (had luggage debris from the trip to denver). Kae dropped off the books she borrowed and played with the girls for a while. I got more laundry on and the guest room back to sorts just as [livejournal.com profile] catjim and guillame came over for casting fun. I put gates into my mold and cast 34 out of 38 buckles in no time. I was able to clean up about half of them before my hands gave out from using the dremel. Mel got some casts of our coins done...they are really cool. I did more weaving while we watched sky high and ate pizza and after everyone left I practiced making pumpkin beads for about an hour. Then it was time for bed. I had washed the bedding for both beds that day and flesh soft sheets are so nice. I just need to finish washing the quilts and woolens today to be ready for highlands.

Today shouldn't be too bad. Got lots to do for work, tracking down my hardware etc. I've got some reviews coming up that I have to prepare for and I want to get my documentation for one of my projects done this week as well. So, here is to getting things done. scribble is at our house and I need to remember to pick up creamer.

While Watching Iron Chef America

Mingo: Alton Brown is my BITCH!

Tati:What will he grill next?! (Speaking of Bobby Flay)

At the Art Fair
Me: Dude, now that's a toy store!

Mel: Maybe I'm not artistic enough...

At New Belgium
Me: History's dirty old man (talking about Ben Frankin)
