Monday, oh, yes, yes it was...
Sep. 12th, 2006 06:55 amWork was...annoying. I have been supporting an effort that I think is pointless and my internal attitude about it has been showing its ugly head. Just a few more weeks and I should be able to leave it done, researched and behind. My other tasks have been on the way side and I really don't like that. I want to finish stuff not just keep pushing things out on my day planner. Ugh. Got home and was unmotivated for a while. I then started cleaning, making dinner (nummy speghetti el fungi putenesca), uploading photos, tracing scrolls etc. Felt much better. I think getting rid of the jungles of the yards is helping. Photos (a few from Atenveldt Investiture) are HERE
Had a nice quiet scribble with
scribe_ari,
genkadin and
mariannaviva. We accomplished much, solved a few mysteries and drank coffee. All was good. Mel got back just about when everyone was leaving and we stayed up for a hwile. I couldn't sleep, not sure why until about 5am this morning. Mel hadn't turned the alarm on. So, I got us up when the clocked flipped to the right time. Tired this morning though. Ugh.
After work I will be venturing to Broadway bikes to pick up innertubes for mel's bike and then we will venture forth for a ride. My fat ass needs to get back on the bike, seriously. Ugh. Then I think it will be left overs, a nap and then fighter practice.
