Wednesday was okay in the end..
Dec. 7th, 2006 06:34 amWork was work and I was all thumbs due to a headache. Got home, had a bit of dinner and we then headed off to test fit and drive the Scion. The thrones fit, it did well on the interstate. We're in a quandry. Both cars are very similar in performance etc and we found out that this is the last model year for the Xa...since the Xd will be coming out. I think I like the fit just a little better for a few reasons like space and on demand power, the fit has a better engine. Plus the dashboard on the scion is dark since the readouts are in the center of the dash. But hopefully by the end of the weekend we will make our decision and then order a car.
After car shopping we picked up my safety shoes at Redwing. They are not pretty but they are grey and have steel toes and ESD grounding already built in. Which means I never have to deal with the annoying heal straps every again. Then we went to target where we realize that the reason I still had a headache was due to lack of caffiene ...duh! Had a coffee and felt tremendously better. We picked up toys for T4T and for the salvation army angel tree. Still need to get a few more toys but we were able to pick things up for Ryan, Linnet and Mason. I know what I want to get Faye but we need to find the shop that carries it. Then we headed to the grocery store and picked up essentials like beer, butter, margarine and veggies. We were tired when we finally got back home about 830 and unloaded and loaded the dishwasher and went to bed.
Today I hope to get some more work on pants done but I may run out to the harrison target to get more toys for T4T or to Walgreens. I need to get going on the sewing and I need to run to kinko's to shrink the drawings...We shall see.
