Well, the work day gave me some disillusionment. Things will never be the way we had them and it makes me sad and angry. I just don't get it.
But I left work at 3pm and picked up the hubby and we head to The Best Bead Show and had a nice, nice time. Looked at kilns and found one I liked the features on. Bead doors are kewl. Got lots of glass for $50, got RAVEN BEADS!!! from Robin at QB's Lampwork Beads in Seattle and she makes larger ones than the 2 I bought. Plus she threw in 2 big beads from her bargain bin for free since I was a lampworker. Yeah! I also picked up some fun beads from Tarik and I picked up the cutest little turtle beads EVAH from The Mothwoman. msgolda and brennabe can tell you they are CUTE!!!! And I picked up two smallish spools of softflex wire for stringing. Good day.
We then headed to Mimi's for comfort food and then home to answer phone calls and sign paperwork formsgolda. Got to bed really early and had a butterfly snuggled up with me most of the night.
I'm trying to have a better attitude but its disheartening...all of the work seemingly to waste. Well, the weekend is shortly approaching and we've got Gaukler coming in tomorrow. We hope to hit the TEP show and the hotel row show for semi-precious saturday and I may have to work on Sunday. Dunno...we shall see.
