Bisbee Weekend

We had a marvelous time in Bisbee. Slept a lot which was cause, well we were tired from all of the steps and antiquing and the fact that the bed was way, way too comfy. Ate some wonderful food. Ivan got so stuffed he almost didn't finish his dinner. I drank way too much really good coffee and brought back more. Mel got a lot of antique tools to play with, I bought a slide rule. Was very happy to take lots of photos which I hope to get up online this week. Met a really nice artist guy that knows Lugh the masseuse and he gave us a quick tour of his house and directions to some beautiful walks. My calves hurt a lot from all of the stairs and the bruising on the knee isn't letting up. Its better but gosh, really, really sore still. We got home on Saturday afternoon and relaxed. The kitties were snuggly and I napped. We got ready for Sir Brendan's b-day party. Lots of good food and fun talk. Got to meet a few people I didn't know. Got some really good faye time. Watched Brendan shave off most of his beard (got pictures of him fully defuzzed). Got up on sunday morning after reading and coffee in bed. We biked to joe's and had a nice breakfast. Got going home and then we got into the truck and headed out for errands after mel got the smoker going on some sausage. Home despot and Lowe's didn't have the stuff we wanted but I did find a couple of grills I liked. I need to hit bbq's galore and see what else I might need. We did some major grocery shopping and then home. The house smelled great and we had bratwurst, sauerkraut and german potato salad for a late lunch/early dinner. Richard came over and had lunch with us and then helped out in the shop. Shelf #3 was completed while I lounged, pulled weeds, sprayed the front yard, watched tv and then made strawberry cobbler. The weeds in the side yard need to get cut down so I can then rake them out and spray. Mel hopes to get the cutting down done for me by the weekend. I want to get a jump start on that this year. I do not want a jungle for a side yard again.

Got to watch dresden and go to bed reading a good book. Did not want to get up this morning but well, here we are at work.
