Wednesday good...
Apr. 5th, 2007 06:35 amWork was good...got lots of things done. Had a wonderful, wonderful performance review and got out of a meeting presentation. Then I went home and lazed around a bit before going on my bike ride. Mel got home just before me and was busy working on getting the strawberry jam made. I had a good ride though the wind was a bit brutal for most of it. Got home, changed clothes, read some dreseden and watched tv. Mel had issues with the jam and realized that 1)he didn't have a big enough pot out and had to switch and 2) he only put in half the sugar...so it took him until almost 630pm to get the jam done and into canning. I then started in on dinner. Richard was over to use the shower since his apartment complex was without water. I fed him too. I made a nummy indian dish where I put tomatoes, garbonzo beads, onions, cilantro, tahini, tumeric and a chille lime sauce in a pot to simmer with some water while I made rice and cooked up chicken. When everything was done I laddled the sauce over the chicken and a little more water and simmered that for a while and left the remainder of the sauce in it pot, chopped up some salami and heated that up for richard. It was good and clear out your sinuses spicy.
Enjoyed dinner and then started in on laundry, cleaning up the front room, making my bento (see the last few days in this Post I also got photos all uploaded for Emma and Liam's wedding (email me if you want to see them), Selene's Laurel offering and our Bisbee Trip. Though I just realized I need to re-do the Bisbee photos since mel takes pictures the opposite flip than I do and I only did my photos. oops. So I will post those again tomorrow but go look and turn your head when you get to one of his photos. Argyll was over working on some woodworking project and I think we all had a very productive night. I read until about 10pm and slept wonderfully.
Today I need to run errands after work (UPS store/Walgreens) but I should be able to get my bike ride in and make dinner before kung fu easily. It looks like next week I get to go to Tempe for business on Thursday and then have a 4 day weekend. yeah. I'm also hoping that I can order my camera today as well. I'm just trying to figure out what lens kit I want.
