ianuk: (angry)
Work was well, annoying and unproductive. I've been waiting on too many things and getting antsy. I couldn't get a fax out that I needed to due to wrong information and well I was done with dealing with things and wanted some time to myself so I left a bit early from work. I get home and mel is already home. I'm confused and concerned and get yelled at for asking simple questions, especially after he deleted a message from UPS about my camera equipment and mel flops on the floor in the great room and falls asleep. I was angry and hurt and couldn't even think of the nap I really, really wanted so I started in on making sushi and molded eggs. Both were pretty much failed experiments after two hours. I need to leave my eggs in the mold longer to retain shape and my sushi rolls would not stay rolled. I think I need better instructions on them and will be looking into that today. Mel woke up and apologized profusely. But I was still grumpy...then the camera arrived and I played around with it while its battery charged. I didn't get a memory card with it and want a larger one and have to now research which high HD ones it can take. Oh, well. Got to practice and it was okay. The caliber of fighting was a little higher than I wanted for the night but I had some good fights and a lot of frustrating ones and then I was just done. Of course mel's promise that it was an early night was again wrong and I was even more grumpified when we got home and I hurt a lot. Too many odd places for bruises and such. Guess I'm not wearing a skirt on my business trip on Thursday.

I hope today goes better. Here's to hoping.

This article is both profound and disturbing. A social engineering experiment that makes me sad. I've very familiar with the metro station considering we got on and off it a lot our first time in DC. It just shocks me and makes me smile...
