Research and the non grad student...

Work progressed well. I got a few things caught up and all was good. Left work on time and headed out to the wilds of the U of A. Found my parking spot (rockstar like) in the parking garage and then headed to the main library. I almost got lost in the anglo-saxon aisle. OMG...so many good books. But I had slips of paper telling me exactly what I was there to get so I stuck with them. Made the appropriate copies and then headed 2 doors down to the engineering library and did a repeat. I did find 2 more books that gave me good information that I was looking for. Got into a conversation about the joys of microfiche with a student and they assumed I was a grad student until they noticed that I was plugging monies into the copier versus the catcard...course I found out I could get a catcard but eh. Its funny chatting with Art history majors. Got home just in time for mel to leave for kung fu. I made with making pancakes, bacon and an omelet. I then got into sewing. I finished mel's brown pants and got the neck holes cut out for the 2 tunics. Mel got home about 730 and snarfed dinner. I put dinner away for breakfast and then attempted to clean up the fridge and the kitchen. The nasties in the fridge got dumped and all of the containers were rinsed in hot water. I'll load the dishwasher this afternoon and then it should almost be done. I felt pretty accomplished for the evening...and if I had wanted less sleep I probably would have stayed up to finish the tunics. I'll get those done tonight before kung fu. Gonna bike tonight, I'm sure I will drag during kung fu but I'll cope. I need to keep biking for me.
