Work was okay minus me worrying all day about the husband. I got somethings done, delegated others and got to finally look at things that have been gathering dust. Then it was time to go home. I hit the credit union, the bank, the car wash (yes I know it was raining) and the grocery store. Gots me some dinner and that was good. Mel was a lump on the couch but he managed to clean up his tools. I got the kitchen set and photos downloaded and all was good. Renee came over early and chatted with the hubby. Gallant came and picked up some old camera equipment that I don't need anymore and all was good. Things were loud and the nonscribblers out numbered the scribblers which I don't think worked so well last night. Maybe I was grumpy...dunno...things were just loud. Sorry if I was grumpy to people...it had been a long day. Got things cleaned up and then took a shower. Came back out to the family room to read for a while. Harris does take my mind off of things. Got to be about 11pm. Mel decided that work would probably be okay today and drove in. He had some toast before leaving and I hope it doesn't upset his tummy too much.

I need to do laundry, clean up my studio and the guestroom and pack this evening. My list looks really long and that disturbs me. I shouldn't need this much stuff. Course with the new camera and the coronet things can be weird. But I will pull everything and then pair things down. I probably only need one set of workout clothes and I can wear my tennies to the pool or go bare foot. Just wish I had a coverup but I think I will cope with a tank and sweatpants. I'm hoping to swim every evening/afternoon and hit the ellipticals in the morning before breakfast. Plus I need to stretch and well, you get the idea. I realized late that I will need to bring my palette with me since I want to paint during the open scribbles. I think I will not bring my gold leaf but just the burnishers and will repack things. Sigh.

Oh, well. Time to shove to and get some work done since my work inbox seems to have way to many messages for a tuesday.

One of my all time fav children's books (The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper) is being made into a movie and I can not believe who they have picked to play the Merriman! You can see the blurb Here but they've got the guy from Lovejoy...who was a great rascal...heck they even have Eccleston as the Rider which will be great fun but to have a guy like lovejoy...ack. So annoyed...
