Weekend Roundup
Jul. 2nd, 2007 06:50 amFriday was busy. Got up at 6am and did a long bike ride, got showered and drove the car to phx for the tint job. Got done in about 2.5 hours and then I hit the Arizona Mills mall for a few hours. Did some shopping and had a good time. Got home and we gamed xcrawl in the Arizona Mills mall of the dead.
Saturday got up and headed out on the far NW side for Thyra and Frodi's wedding. It was warm and we had a good time. Much hilarity ensued. Got home and mel napped and I had a beer. Then we picked up richard for dinner and a movie. Went to Sweet Tomatoes and then to see 300 at the cheap seats. Got home and I finished Nightwatch and went to bed.
Sunday, again got up too early, and mel and I biked a good ride. Ended up at Joe's and had breakfast. There is comfort in the familiar and the people watching. Got home and started in on a few things. I ended up crashing on the couch after not much longer and I awoke about an hour later with a kitten pile and snuggling. I got movtivated and started in on making mustard, getting photos uploaded (on, the drama...stoopid things) and then carving on bone. Curran came over and then left for errands, richard came over and worked on the forge, the boys made the forge better, Bill and Sarah and Faye made an appearance, got served snacks, beverages and then dinner. I grilled up pork and chx and then drank lots of beer and watched Shaun of the Dead. Fun, fun movie. Then it was time for bed.
Not feeling too great today and I'm tired. Luckily its only 8 hour days this week and I'm gonna try to come in early and leave earlier...course I didn't manage this morning. I need to head to cafe to get some breakfast...I'm craving a big toasted bagel with cream cheese...so needs it.
