The weekend...
Mar. 16th, 2008 04:47 pmTravel to sundragon was good going the back way. Going to chandler was a hassle but a good night was had. The morning was icky and I almost didn't make the event. We gots new cousins now and that is good. After some discussions we left and after lunch found out the interstate was closed to the south due to a wreck. We headed to ikea and then home. I was in bed and snoring by 9pm.
Well, work on the masterwork progresses and unfortunately its in that stage where everything looks awful and the light at the end of the tunnel dims and you are left wondering..OMG this is the worst thing I've ever made! It will probably be fine...its just at that ugly stage of creation. I'm feeling somewhat better. The tummy was not happy most of saturday but things are working better so I guess that is something. Not 100% but better than friday and saturday morning.
The weather has made work in the shop a bit cold. I keep having to come in to warm up. Which is okay. Plus the fact that my body has been dealing with non-ideal food well, I'm cold. So, I will probably make dinner and maybe eat some of it. Ivan is helping one of the college kids cast up a pennanular brooch that can carry a usb drive for a something old/something new project. Its pretty cool. I'm just going to plod along and see where I get by 7pm and then it will be working on the house to give my hands a break and be ready for scribble tomorrow. So when I get home I'll be able to work on my masterwork before scribble. Then it will be working on that I guess. We shall see. Tired and cold but good I guess.
