Okay...stoopid meetings suck!
Mar. 19th, 2008 06:52 amSeriously, I know I work on a program whose other acronym is called something like many meetings right after other meetings but OMG!!! I don't mind meetings as long as they are productive and don't piss me off! UGH!!! I wanted to call a mulligan on the day! Anyhoo...got home kinda annoyed but was soothed by the hubby who was gonna make a nummy dinner. I got working in the shop and came in for advice to find <lj user="bdrisco"> over to help with the cleaning. Mel got him working on the back yard a bit more and I was being dumb in the shop. Heat transfer is not a good thing when you fingers are involved repeatedly. Grrr. Anyhoo. Got things finished up to where I was mostly happy in the shop...not done but a good stopping point.
Asked for some pointers and then we started in on the great bookcase cleaning and filing. Seriously. Mel and I have this bad habit of saving things and putting them in piles, well actually its my learned behavior from my mom. And since mel brings home neat stuff printed out on historical stuff that we want to save it gets piled. Golda and CJ worked on the shelves and Gallant worked on punching holes and filling multiple binders full of stuff. We just have the gaming shelves to deal with and the hard cover bookshelf to deal with and we will be good. We all worked until about 9pm or so and the it was restful time watching TV while mel worked on my boots. The embroidery is done and he got the toe cap on one sole and will continue to work on things this afternoon and tomorrow. Tonight is the big push for me to finish up my masterwork, we'll see what I can accomplish in the few hours before the officer's meeting. Then it will be home to sleep and do things again on thursday. I have a crewe to help with cleaning on thursday night and we should be golden on the house front. Here's to hoping.
