Well, lots to do at work and too many meetings to attend to accomplish it. But I managed to tread water pretty well and get home at a reasonable time. I rode the 7 mile circuit and maintained about 14.8 mph...which was interesting considering my sides were aching most of the last half and it was 15 degrees warmer yesterday than when I had been riding. But I guess the music helped and I made do. Got home exhausted and took a while to cool down and stretch. I then started getting things cleaned up for scribble (ivan was a sweety and did all of the dishes). I managed to get all of my clothes sorted for laundry and things set up that I could have dinner and relax before folks got there. Mel put The 5th Element in the player and it was nice to watch on the bigger tv. I vegg'd and folks arrived and we all got sucked into the movie. Then we disbanded to our respective scrolls and worked. Well, I eventually worked, meg and I got my neckline worked out and my sleeve pattern done. I almost finished the little angel scroll I've been working on. I limited myself to yellow, grey and red for the colors so its been a challenge in color usage. Its gonna be very nice though. Shoshana and I planned out a calligraphy day and it was good to sit and paint and relax with the girls.

Thyra was over with JD working on armor. The girls went ballistic after obsidian got smacked by the door and there was much grumpiness. The were so grumpy they 1)didn't get fed and 2)got locked out of the bedroom for the night. They ate this AM but were still a bit grumpy. Sighs.

Today is a non biking day but I will be doing kung fu. I will also probably be getting a nap. I'm very tired this am...course I need coffee too. I didn't bring enough food to work yesterday and that got me all weird. Today I think I brought the right mix of things and I've got breakfast in two parts to help with the energy loading. We shall see how that works out. I was a bit shakey this AM too...we shall see. I'm just glad its only 8 hour days.
