Last Day of the Work Year....

Yesterday being the second to last day...things were kinda slow. I've got 3 hot things that are waiting on other peeps. The Chief REA called me to have me share my performance stuff cause he wants to give a "spectacular" review of my performance this year. That made me squee a bit. I was tired all day and having not slept much it was a hard day to stay on task..but I did. I got home and picked up a few things for my errands and ran out the door. I got our pictures for our xmas letter and I returned a pair of jeans to macy's. Exciting no? Picked up viva burrito for dinner and I was exhausted by this point. Ate a meal with the hubby, put bedding into the washer and I snoozed hard for about 30 mins. I woke up cold and made tea and then got to working on xmas cards. I got those done by 830pm and got laundry put away by 9pm and then I got a quick shower and enjoyed a porter in bed while I finished my book. I snuggled down to sleep and I don't think I even heard mel come home.

This morning I woke up more congested than I had but it blew out of my nose on the first try...so I think I'm finally getting more over the crud but staying home and sleeping was good especially since we will be up at 4am tomorrow to catch our plane at 550am. I'm gonna get the xmas cards out tonight...run one errand and then come home and pack and then got to the officer's meeting. And then to bed...my house is okay...not exactly as clean as I want it but it works. If you didn't get a card from us this year, I'm sorry...ran out of time and only sent out 40...but if you send us one we'll reciprocate after the new year and we are home again.

So, here is hoping that the day goes swiftly.
