Family is all here...finally
Dec. 21st, 2008 07:19 pmWell, the weather in the dakota's was odd...planes in Phx didn't get where they were supposed to...so mom and Jocy got in at 9pm versus 4pm and ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
argent_lupin and I drove to Charlotte to pick up Ellen and Mel T. from the airport there since they missed their connection to Greenville. Made for a late night since we got back to the hovel at 130am. Coffee and snickers are gods gift to driving. I've know been in another state I hadn't been in...and there is a water tower in the shape of a peach. Very cool. The parents were in good spirits when we picked them up and after coffee all of us headed to bed. Mel and I slept till almost 9am local and we all hung out this AM. Coffee and toast were had by all. Becca and I got the tree decorated and we had a good time of that. I did embroidery the rest of the afternoon. After a brisk walk around the subdivisions 2 fishing ponds it was all good. Got back and did more embroidery and had a good conversation with folks. We had a late dinner and now its project time...though my eyes are tired from doing all of that cross stitch. But eh...I'll take out my contacts and go some more. Its been nice.
Tomorrow will be shopping day for momma kemp. She needs new clothes. All good.
