Monday moves along

Work drug on a bit...I'm waiting on things and that is annoying. But I shall cope. Got home and helped on picking up the house, though mel really did most of it. Thank you honey. I then snuggled up for a nap and had obsidian join me under covers for a bit. I slept well and got up not too groggy. I got the rest of the stuff picked up and got a bit of help from perrin when she and bill arrived to get the table ready for scribes. We had a full table of almost the entire scribble...and the family room was full of kids. Thanks to bill and icka for running herd on that...wow that was a lot of energy running around. Course I think the house needed it so that is all good too.

I managed to paint myself in circles on a dress on the last scroll in my case. So, I put it away and got out my shiny new sketch book and started to sketch out a scroll. yeah, you heard me...I'm working on some scroll designs. I had been planning on doing one for A&S and well, now I'm not to pressured, so I can take my time and get the details right. Plus I have in mind to do elements of what I wanted and turn them into multiple scrolls so designs by me will be neato. I'll just keep sketching until they are done.

Then I sat and worked on my crochet project. I got a PM from the author of the pattern that helped me out. I got going on that and now its looking okay...though I wouldn't have done the single crochet I would have done FPDC and BPDC instead...you get a much more defined rib. The kids started going home about 930pm and I helped April with a computer issue and then it was time for bed.

I slept okay but another hour would have been nice. Work is shaping up to lots today...so we shall have to push on forward and get things done. So, on to the paperwork.

Wow, what a difference

So, after work I picked up the bike and got a new seat. I got a Terry Butterfly and well it was free. We had credit at the store and that paid for it. Got it installed and made it home just in time for a short ride before the sun fully set. I only went the quick 6.5 miles but man was it a comfy ride. Course my phone died during my ride and didn't get my workout...and I forgot to reset my bike computer but well, I was quick and probably 15+ I'll try a longer ride tomorrow...when I should get home from work at a good time.
