Bleah.

So, I thought I was better yesterday. I headed to a movie and some shopping with the scribe_ari and well, I over did it. I was so tired when I got up today and after fighting with walgreens (not really them, but ugh, i hate when insurance changes) I came home and slept or read all afternoon. Been sitting here on the couch since about 4 ish and I ran out of yarn on mel's hot water bottle cozzy, can't get more until monday and now need something else to work on. Le sigh. Still icky...still tired and coughing. Bleah.

So, my review of Holmes: Wow, very neato. I especially like when they let you into holmes's brain. I did not think the actress they picked for Irene was adequate. She wasn't pretty enough in the least, the gun was wrong and her hair wasn't red enough. Plus, I have a big issue with them changing a bit of cannon with her...though its not Sir Arthur's portion of the cannon it still irks me a bit. But I liked it, it was good and the sequel is well set up. Though even though I didn't like her for irene, I think she would make a wonderful Lt. Dallas if they ever did an In Death movie.

I've also read two books this year. My goal will still be 50. I only made it to 33 in 2009...so I think its still possible. We shall see. Good start.

I read Firestorm and Thin Air by Rachel Caine. I am really sucked into the series...and I don't have books 7 and 8. We shall see who might have them. But I need to get back to some other series to finish them off as well. All good.
