Well, the work day was really, really slow. Like epically slow. I got lots done but it did not pass the time as it normally does. Bleah.

Left work at normal time to head to eye appointment. My new contacts were adjusting weird at the initial appointment and after two weeks we've confirmed I'm seeing 20/20 again in the left eye. It was not the case to start with...but my corneas have finally readjusted. After that I headed to tartget to get a few incidentals and then headed to pei wei and was really, really disappointed in the food. Unlike panda express, its very hard to get veggies versus rice. So, I don't think I'll be going back there any time soon. I grabbed my food and headed to knit night. Had a really nice time but we missed the friendly faces of [livejournal.com profile] scribe_ari who had family in town, [livejournal.com profile] elinor_dear who had a migraine and [livejournal.com profile] meowandbark who was just tired. Had an aquiantance from work (she sits a few cubes down) come to knit night. She's a quilter named Toni and she came over to grandmas on saturday to learn some things and got started on knitting....she came to tell me about it and it was fun to include her in the group. We had a good time. Lots of good conversation and I'm half way through my first lace repeat. Woot!

Got home and mel had stayed home..he was nursing a sewing wound and was rinsing blood out of his shirt when I got home. Poor guy. He went to bed a bit early and I stayed up a bit longer to start and finish a crochet heart...not the same one I tried over the weekend but this one worked out. I posted the results over on [livejournal.com profile] crochetcrochet and you can see it here.

I slept good but I can not wait to sleep in tomorrow. I'm still recovering so by the end of the day I'm tired. Well see how I do at the Hall tonight...but sleeping in tomorrow will be worth it. I've got plans for the weekend projects and I hope to get some sewing done. All good. Looking forward to Bisbee on Saturday and then maybe a trip to mons on Sunday. We'll see how I'm doing. Its gonna be a lot of physical stuff very quickly and I don't want to push too hard...but it will all be how I feel.
