Well, work was special and I was very, very happy to hit the gym. Bob agrees that I need to work on getting my cardio up and I need to be working harder at that. So, I'll be running...its harder than the elliptical for me and well, I find it easier in a way...not sure. I think part of it is that I can't look side to side and I have to concentrate versus getting bored on the elliptical even with music. So, I set the time for 15mins and I ran 10 of those minutes broke up by 5 mins of fast walking. I also kept it going pretty fast and pushed the incline up so I was running/walking up hill. I think its good.

Got done, cleaned up and found that my deodorant had melted in the car. sighs. I need to find some that doesn't melt or now start keeping my bag at my desk. Sighs. Got out and it smelled like rain outside. I could see that the mountains south of us were dark and rain was falling. The desert with rain is such a neat smell. Very alien to a plains girl when I first got here but I can't wait until we get the monsoons here soon.

I headed to Beyond Bread for knit night since Vikki and Mike are on holiday. Had a really nice time and a nummy dinner with leftovers for lunch. We said good by to Erin who is moving to WA. We had cheesecake and I really shouldn't have...my insides today are not happy. Bleah. Oh, well, it was good, even the very small piece I had. I cast on for some mitts for work and managed to knit my cast on tail as my yarn for over half a row. Sighs. I had to tink back and in the lighting that was a pain. but I managed and then started knitting correctly. After we all left I headed to Gamestop and picked up my reserved copy of Harry Potter Anniversary Edition Lego game. I resisted playing it and managed to work on some more weaving when I got home. I'm finally understanding what is going on and its going quickly which is good. I'm very well on my way to finish it for the weekend.

Mel and I hit bed on time and I stayed up reading for a bit. Tolkein's translation is interesting and he really did well with the tone and timber of what seems right for a translation. I keep wracking my brain to actually remember the story but I don't remember it much all good though. I slept really well but I woke up very sore and weary. I could have stayed in bed for quite a while.

Work is going okay. Got enough to do and things to complete and people to bug. Gonna work normal time today, hit the gym and then head home for working on Tristan's tunic. My goal is to get the sleeves set in and the facing done and to start working on the edging and hems. I'll probably weave a bit too...but I think early to bed will be a good plan since I plan on doing some rock climbing tonight at the gym and that always wears me out.
