Wow, its thursday already? Busy week
Feb. 3rd, 2011 09:51 amWell, I guess I've been lax on posting. But the week at work has been busy. I had to finish up a big project by COB on Monday for the customer and then a big issue hit at our plant in NM so its been busy. Been tired when I got home every night and I think my capacity for keeping mentally focused on engineering is getting worse. I used to have to shut down after 9 hours...now I think its about 8 hours. I think this is partly pregnancy related since I'm slowing down in other areas as well. Plus having such a busy physical weekend really made this week hard. Eh, I shall survive and it hasn't been too bad.
Lots of stuff on the baby front but that is for a different filter. Things are going along well and I'm still feeling really good so I guess that is what counts. Things are getting closer and I put in for my LOA to start March 10th and I'll be off until after Memorial Day. Seems like a long time but I'm sure it will go fast with the podling being here and family visiting.
My crafting is getting baby orientated and I'm working on finding fabric to make curtains and mel is busy spinning yarn for me to make a hat and sweater to bring the baby home in. I'm excited to start but I have to wait for the yarn. I figure I can work at Grandma's on the sweater with Becky since she's in residence a lot and that will be nice to relax and work on things.
So, that is the week...its been bitter cold for Tucson with record lows the last few nights and its just crazy..I'm glad I have knit wear to use to keep warm. I do think the goal for next winter season will be my own knit sweater for outerwear which would be awesome. I like the one I have for maternity with the hood and a more fitted style would be great. We shall see.
