Week is progressing...
Jan. 5th, 2012 08:57 amWell, work has been slowish which I'm okay with. I've been tired when getting up and I'm still fighting some sinus stuff. Benton is still not happy about getting up early and yanno I'm not either.
Had a really nice time at knit night. We had quite the crewe. I got more Chaigoo lace circular needles. They are fabulous. I cast on for Bryan's hat and got through some of the ribbing. Got home and my fab hubby was doing dishes. I luv that. I really do.
I worked on Shanda's shawl and then we both got to bed on time. I fell asleep pretty quickly and then I woke up at 450am. I looked at my alarm clock and the alarm was not on..so I turned it on and then snuggled back down to then have obsidian open the bedroom door and have to kick her out and then Benton was worrying a bit. I got up and dressed and gave Benton a binky and he was back out. I got things going for the morning and Ben was cute and not too squawky about getting up.
I do have to say one thing I'm not enjoying has been his propensity for having a poopy diaper right before we leave for daycare. Its crazy full but I caught it before it became a wardrobe changing affair.
This week is also odd for the work schedule. Due to the holiday we only have to work 4 hours tomorrow and we still get next Friday off. Its weird but I'm not complaining. Mel and I have a lunch and movie date planned for tomorrow. We will be seeing Tin Tin which makes me happy. Hopefully I don't get too much uncanny valley. The previews don't creep me out so hopefully the movie is good.
SCA seneschal stuff has been interesting. I really wish people would take personal responsibility but I guess its just not in their nature. Lame but true. Oh, well. Calvary to the rescue.
