Quick Post War Post of Quickness

1. It was hot...did not need much of my wool
2. I won the Viking Headware category
3. My hat is not a napkin.
4. Ivan won the carved chests category but he was the only entrant...kinda bittersweet but the box effing rocks
5. Our camp was awesome.  People kept asking if we were Aten Royal.  We as a house had more banners than the entire kingdom of the West....and we didn't have all of our banners...wait till next year.
6. Hrafn folks are just awesome...seriously. I was reminded of this way too many times and I need to personally thank everyone of them.
7. The bad squire spoke truth when he said that "a bad week at war is still better than a good week at work"...I have to say I agree. I think this was a weird war for me and I'm not sure I liked it or not but I'm finding more good than bad when looking back.
8. Always fight every battle like its your only day to fight at war.  That is what I did and I did really well even with my cracking command voice.
9. I'm just as sick now as I was at war...its not worse or better but about the same.  Bleah.
10. Benton had a good time and was uber cute.  He made the West go AWWWWW when he was walking around all rus/viking'd out.
11. I bought books.  Lots of books.
12. I taught classes and I'm happy with that.
13. I made sure folks remembered rule #3 and that stopped some really bad behavior.
14. Hrafn Relays in the road make some older than dirt peers smile from ear to ear.  Gonna have to have more of those.
15. I can do an impression of our drunk prince really well
16. The SCA is a place where you might see one person only once a year but you can see them and start talking right where you left off in your conversation.  That is so cool.

For the geeks
