Weekend Recap late....

Sunday brought us this years GAWD AWFUL GRAIL.
msaimeesue and icka_imp had been hard at work on the GAWD AWFUL SCROLL and there was fun with the Scribal Choir. It was fun.

I ended up fighting which was okay. I managed to do 3 rounds which is becoming pretty standard for me. The last bought was greatsword and since I have only fought it one other time. We had gone over this style of weapons at dojo night on Thursday and that was good. I held my own for a good while before being taken down.

I didn't feel too bad about my fights...still getting used to the new shield and I definitely need to take my body harness in. Its time.

Other than that we spent the evening chatting with Kissa and Branden till late and that was a very, very good thing. Luv those two.

Benton Update

Poor little guy came down with a virus on monday. He had fever, coughing, congestion and lethargy and had no voice. He stayed home 2.5 days.

Along with that he's been cutting the two teeth on either side of his top front teeth and also cutting the bottom right next to his front teeth.

3 teeth, sick and it makes for a cranky and snuggly boy.

He's also been very separation anxiety ridden when mel leaves. Its cute and heart wrenching at the same time. He got daddy snuggles while I packed the car this AM cause he was crying. Hearing your kid crying when he doesn't really have a voice is also hard.
