Fall Funk in full swing
Oct. 2nd, 2014 11:31 amLast week was trying and this week is following suit. I'm about to get a butt load more responsibility at work and well, yeah. And my mood is pretty low, I'm feeling uncreative and just swamped by my project list and to make it all even better the writing bug has hit me and I have 3 stories in my head that I started to get written in electronic format. Well, really 2 are fanfics that I'm working on with one being due at Xmas and the other is my novel I started 20 plus years ago. I just scanned the two chapters I had hard copy and then converted it back to word. I live in the future. Seriously. Course I've got hand written notes form me and the previous co-author who is now deceased that are taking me back to emotional places I probably don't need to be but well, its okay.
One of the next things to improve my mood will be to clean my studio and have mel clean the brewery and then the house should be done with eating my brain. Its been unhappy and it got less unhappy when we deep cleaned it for the household meeting and had people over for the meeting and we are resurrecting our gaming night (D&D). So the house will once again be getting its dose of energy.
Tomorrow we go van shopping to replace the xterra. I'm sad about that. I love that truck but it just does not meet our needs anymore and its 14 years old and starting to just get worn out. So we will probably be purchasing a vehicle in the next month or so. And yes, we are buying a mini-van. Sighs. Course when I first was looking at the Xterra I almost got a mini-van but Mel was "you are not buying a minivan as you first new car" and well, he was probably right.
Knight light was Tuesday and the family went out. Mel's knees are still pretty sore from the working on his mom's house and we had a nice time chatting with people etc. Benton was getting tired and wanting to snuggle up on the Hrafn cloaks. He was uber cute and fell asleep before we even got a half mile down the road.
