I'd like to just sleep some more....
Nov. 8th, 2022 03:28 pmSo I last wrote and it was a quick sum up of photos. We had breakfast with Mom over that next weekend and that was nice. Benton worked on his halloween costume and then we had halloween. It was a slow day at work and then it was a rush to switch clothes (general witchyness) and then heading to Mary and Andrews without Mel. He had misremembered the time we needed to be there which was 6pm not 630pm. Sighs. But it was an okay night...I was cranky by the end cause I was hungry cause they had pizza and I can't eat that. But Benton got a haul of candy and we got home and I had dinner. I was cranky...this would have been a thing. But later on that. Tuesday was nuts at work and I was tired and had a bunch to do. By the afternoon I was feeling...odd. By bedtime I was not feeling good at all. I texted Bob to say "ugh, no feel good"
Woke up barely on Wednesday with a fever, headache and exhaustion...I slept for 15 hour+ that day and then 12+ the next day off and on but I mostly stayed horizontal. Never any congestion but a bit of asthma coughing. Not sure if it was RSV or the flu but it was not covid...I tested. So my weekend was blurry. I had breakfast with Mom at Millie's Pancake Haus and then we went to Poe's hobbit birthday where I just sat and knit. It was just exhausting and I slept for 2 hours after that.
Monday I did the big migration to Office 365 on the new work interface and its a fucking mess. I can't access anything and my teams keeps logging me into the old account and they made it completely stoopid. I'm going to have to call the help desk and get this sorted. But I managed to get our ballots in yesterday and now we just wait for the doom or relief or a mixed crazy. ugh. I'm still tired and cranky and brain fogged.
I did finish book #37 of the year Quantum of Nightmares and yeah not gonna eat meat substitues for a while yuck. I'm now reading #38 which is Escape from Yokai Island which is further back in the laundry verse I think before the New Management time. But we are back with Bob and that is a nice change though I'm starting to really like the new slew of characters. After this I have a few things on my physical shelf to read.
Oh to add to all of the crap going on the graduate (aka Willa) broke her ankle on Friday. She's mine...so klutzy and she gets to have surgery on Thursday.
Can the new full moon / planetary alignmenting thingy please end this crap?
