weird ass weekend.
Sep. 10th, 2024 10:49 amFriday was a whirlwind of things. I had overscheduled due to the being sick and having to move things two weeks. But it was okay. I managed to relax, have a good time with the hair cut even though it was crazy to see how much of my hair was on the floor. But I like the undercut, my only real issue is that is now shows two moles I kinda forget about on my right side and honestly the one behind my ear I just need removed and I probably should get the one at my temple removed as well.
New haircut
I then hit up BoxLunch and got the black on black Beetlejuice purse for like 20$ due to my points etc. So I was pleased with that. I also go Benton Stitch halloween pants.
I did a quick trip into total wine and then home to drop off and then to my tattoo. I'm super pleased with it and its now at the burny/itch stage today. I finally managed to wash my hair last night but if I sleep on it it gets more sore so yeah. Anyhoo, it was glorious and Gail is amazing as always. We scheduled the coverup/incorp tattoo for my low back for December 7th. Ravens, roses, music, gladiolas and prairie pasques are the inspo. We have an all day setup for that day. I got home and had time to give hugs and send the boys off to the dojo before I headed to my massage which was good. I needed that. Home to dinner of tasty tasty pork chops and then I was wiped. Like seriously wiped. I went to bed early....but woke up early on Saturday well before my alarm and that sucked.
I managed to get up, have coffee/breakfast and then get Benton up (12 hours of sleep and still exhausted...teenagers man). But I put on movies and worked hard for 4 hours straight on the proposal stuff I had due. I then took a break, got fabric cut out for mel's pants and then took an evening break. I was reading off and on and playing games on my phone and I got a shower and dressed up for Dom's birthday drinks at the Beer House. We had a good chunk of the local heavy hitters from the house, good drinks and fun. My stomach did not like the Dragon Fandango sampler ?I had (fruity sour from Iowa) but it was tasty. I gave it to Ari who got another one while I nursed an 805 Cerevesa, I did get us beers for home to try when we cashed out. I was tired and just wanted bed and went to sleep pretty quickly...but I was awoken to my watch notifying me that Shanda and her mom were getting out of the summer house. So it was pinging me with every time they opened the door and the cameras caught things. So I was awake. I sat and read and then finally got up and made coffee. Mel got up before I managed to bring him coffee. I decided to do sewing before I did work work. I only had about an hour of work left to do and then was stuck on what to work on. I managed to take Benton to get book cases for his projects from Ari, and grocery shopping before finishing some work and being a lump after making tacos for dinner.
Monday I my stomach was rumbling and not in a good way and I had insomnia so it was kind of a blur. Bleah.
