So, work was way less of a brain drain. My analysis got the following commentary "Thank you very much. This looks great. I'm impressed. You're very thorough." which makes me the happy! All of the hard work paid off. I did other stuff and worked on getting a housing ready for a drawing with my uber awesome drafters. Meetings were most of the day so when I got home at 5pm I was tired but not in the brain. Mel was spinning when I got home and we discussed going out to dinner. I had a gift cert for a project that was finished to Chilis's and we decided heading there would be good. Richard came over before we left to work on some soap stone. I was a good girl and covered up my bike so dust wouldnt' get on it.

Had a really nice dinner at chili's and then we headed off to barnes and noble for some book looking. I picked up a few mystery books I hadn't seen yet (as in nothing at bookmans yet) which included Knit one, Kill Two by Maggie Sefton and The Trouble with Magic by Madelyn Alt. The first book is a great pun and includes a recipe and a knitting pattern in each book. Not that I knit but its neat. Got home from the store and we relaxed watching tv. I did manage to get the chain gearing oiled up before we became complete couch potatoes and I even tooled around birch street in and out of all of the cul-de-sacs getting the gears all coated with lube. I cycled through everything twice and it was running pretty good. The handlebars made my hand hurt but it was good to be out even with the lightening and thunder over head. I got in, unclipped just fine (no falls) and put things back (including the cover for the bike). Mel was worried that I'd taken so long and thought I had fallen (such a funny hubby). and then we vegg'd in front of the tv. It was very nice. Got to bed a bit early but that was okay too. We need to be well rested for the weekend...which starts at 3pm today. Yup!

So, good night and a pretty good morning (all of my early am meetings have been canceled). So, on to paper work and plotting.
