The day dawned a bit early..we were up by 8am. (I <3 sleeping in!) and Shanda got breakfast in the oven and I got on the phone to get folks over for blueberry french toast casserole. Had Ed, Asa, the Holly and Richard. We enjoyed pie, casserole, coffee and I got to talk to my mom for a while. She had a nice dinner the for turkey day with her brother-in-law's family. She also wanted to see if mel liked his pocket watch that she got him and well, he did. Then it was cleanup and showers and mel and shanda's mom played with the dye baths. I worked on armor and shanda worked on embroidery. I finihsed up my armor lacing and have one plate left over. I need to strap it together to see if its enough plates. I'm a bit worried still. But more work today should help. I went to the holiday concert entitled Christmas in the Court of the Sun King by Musica Sonora which HRM Cecilia sings in. It was good...though you could tell the pieces the organist practiced a lot an those he didn't and I felt the tempo on a few of the pieces was bit slow but the finale piece (the last half of the concert) was a full ensemble with strings, organ, soloists and chorus. It was awesome...especially considering they had never practiced it all together.

Got home and watched tv with the boys and mel and I finished off the evening to watching Ace of Cakes. I slept well and the girls woke me up for breakfast. So I got up. I hope to finish my body harness today, work out our estrella entry, wrap some xmas gifts. Should be a good day.
