I'm so tired.....

Benton was out of school sick from Monday thru Wednesday. It wasn't too bad but he was tired and had a nasty cough. We got that under control with rest, fluids, asthma meds and mucinex. He was much better over the weekend but still tired. Mel came down with the same thing on Thursday night and has been slowly getting better. We tested him for Covid and its negative so that is good. We skipped Coronation and breakfast with Mom. I was worried this was a bad plan but it wasn't. My anxiety is bad right now...even though I had a few good days. We managed to get the thanksgiving shopping done on Friday AM but did not go to costco...the parking lot was a zoo....we went to Albertsons where I had a 10% off our whole order due to getting our flu vaccines. Did not get eggs cause they were $7 a dozen? WTAF? I got them later in the day for $3.50 for 18 count at Target. Seriously WTAF? We did get our christmas beef that we will attempt a beef wellington. Yay!

So far this week has been long and its only Tuesday. I was supposed to make a few turkey day things last night but I was tired after the gym. But hopefully tonight I can make some progress. I'm trying not to stress and just keep things simple. But the house is messy, Halloween is piled on the piano and I need to wash the table clothes etc. We will get it done but its just the stress of the holiday. Ugh. Stress.

Yep, stress. Don't worry about the Halloween still piled up, Halloween is EVERY DAY. One less thing to stress about! Didn't pre-prepare items for a meal tomorrow? So what, maybe you eat a little later than you initially planned! One less thing to stress about! Table linens have food on them from last time and you don't have time to launder them? Guess what, they will get MORE food on them tomorrow so save yourself a step and don't wash until Friday! One less thing to stress about!
