Today is the last work day and tomorrow we pack and get the house winterized and ready to take off early on Saturday. I want to go home and I don't. Its been so nice weather wise here and its hellishly hot in AZ. We have projects and the cats here so going home isn't needed really....except Mel has an inperson meeting on Tuesday he has to attend...so home we will go.

Next year we will come earlier and stay a bit later if we can. ITs been very nice for all of us.

Our neighbors, Ruby and Rodney, stopped by last night since the cable TV was out. We laughed cause we had noticed but turned on Netflix since the internet was still working. It was nice to chat with them and catch up on things. They are in their 80s and just delightful.

On the reading front I finished #29 of my books for the year and will definitely finish that trilogy about the Scholomance but I had a fluffy Magic book on my kindle app of "A Charming Crime (Magical Cures Mystery #1) by Tonya Kappes...the editing is...special but I'm deleting that part of my brain to just read a book I already had....so meh. Fluffy can be poorly written. It will fill the gap until I dive back into the other series or other things on my app. Staring at you Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher and the first in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries by Charlain Harries

Spicy was helpful....and tangled my yarn I was winding. I had rigged up to use the new to us reel with my akerworks spindle and some hair ties and this last skein (I'd wound 5 other skeins this way) was being annoying and I walked away to do it later. And she pulled it off the reel and tangled it more. Sighs. Things to fix tonight while I'm doing laundry and drop van off for service.

Got a list of things for tomorrow to do around the property to get things going. So probably no posts until next week and I will recount our travels back with hopefully easy going and happy cats.
