yeah, tuesday...ugh...
Jun. 1st, 2005 07:07 amSo, I tried to find stuff to do at work, I even asked for work but with everyone gone, on travel or just plain swamped I'm kinda stuck. I did have some action items that I took care of, burned another CD to send out but still...dull. I'll see what I can do to bug my boss but he went on travel today, our section manager is being replaced and...the list goes on. So, I'll keep busy with research, finding my drafter to whose working my drawing and maybe start filling out the catelog electronically. So, not too bad. Just wish i had about 1 more week of vacation so I could just take this week off and pack the house. Now I'm starting to stress but things will be fine. I guess we're moving small stuff on Saturday (kung fu moving crewe) and then the big stuff on Sunday. Just need to get the word out plus get ready for the demo on Saturday morning.
So, came home, catelog'd more books, mel cooked dinner, I headed to class where we got to teach kane dan gun and I worked on Po Eyun. Finally know all of the moves in the correct order and direction...now the details. Then it was off to FP which was hella small. Mel and I worked on some more shots. We finally figured out I learn and think way differently than he does. I break things down into small pieces and he just does it. He doesn't know how to describe it either which isn't helping but I was trying hard to understand him and he was trying to explain but since he doesn't think the same its not working well. So, we chatted on the way home of what needs to change and move and things will work out. He's just got to think about the steps...course body mechanics between him and I are way different and we saw that on the wrap shot since my elbow goes way past 180 and his goes to about 170...makes a lot of difference. So, home we went to beer and staying up late talking. Kinda needed to happen but made this morning hella hard. I still have the same headache I had yesterday...bleah, hopefully the IB will start taking the edge off soon...or more coffee.
So, today we will be heading to the house with a load of stuff (craft room and garb move). Richard is gonna install the box for the porch light (I'll have to have mel buy one) and put in the doorbell. I never realized how much I like having a doorbell...plus the house is very sound proof and I couldn't hear bridget knocking when she stopped by last week and I was in the kitchen...so, yay for richard. Plus I think we'll remover the heaters from the walls in the family room. 1) they aren't up to code and 2) I really don't think will need them. Mel's gonna paint trim while I start moving stuff...all good.
