Tuesday of stuff..
Jun. 8th, 2005 07:37 amSo, work was really good, got lots done (and was busy the whole day). Got lots to do today so that is really good. Full dockets make the day go by much quicker. So, picked up the honey and off to home we went. The girls are adjusting okay. Butterfly is normal but obsidian is spooked by 1) us coming home (she dove off of the couch and slunk under it when we walked in), 2) the new fridge (the ice maker makes her run away and the bottom freezer has a light (oh, no!) But I'm pretty sure they will be almost normal by the end of the week.
So, we got home changed clothes, loaded up empty boxes into the truck and headed to the old house. Got the bedrooms, the bathrooms and 1/2 of the hall closets cleaned out of the last bits. Then we headed back after dropping off a load to pick up armour and head to fighter practice. Got lots of things accomplished there and fought pretty well I think. The new mid guard (while very tiresome) is working okay. I killed Aaron once and Cravon twice and had fun fighting sly and timothy. didn't get to fight with Isobell but, she was sick....very good night. We got in the truck and realized it was 10:20pm...doh! So, didn't feel that late. Got home and showered (so need to fix the showerheads) and snuggled into bed. Didn't wake up freezing cause the cooler kicked off about the time we got out of the shower. I've got a great bruise from Sean and Aaron on the upper thigh and a nice one from sly on my left shoulder. I'm gonna have to take pictures of that one...very nice.
We move more stuff today from the guest room, the sewing room, kitchen and the washer and dryer. The latter is the most important cause I really, really need to do laundry. Course I also have to install a dryer vent outlet into the carport wall but I figure I'll cope with some fuzz in the laundry/storage until I do that this weekend or next week. So, I plan on packing up more stuff, helping the guys and then letting mel go to Art's Night while I try to get the bedroom unpacked and maybe the linen closet set up. Then I can move on to the kitchen (that shouldn't take too long but the sink needs some ajax.) So, full night of getting my house in order. That is the only thing I'm not liking right now but hey, I can deal and cope.
So, off to more coffee and some ibuprofen.
