Had a very stressful end of the work day. Had to tear down the flight hardware and check it for damage, normal wear in tear etc. This took way too long. It took me 45min to get the part moved from where it was on the dock to the lab I needed it in.

While in the lab we find out the unit that we were going to test had connectors flipped on the motherboard. Now, all of these were "re-use" which means QA screwed the pooch some how, somewhere and now its a toss up if the unit will be ready in time for shipping on Monday. Hopefully I'll get a call tomorrow morning with status that says that we got it fixed, the electrical test went fine and that we're vibing the unit tomorrow morning. I was just grumpy along with the fact that cecilia couldn't get her key to work so she put the scroll in the workshop. The open air workshop...it rained today. Luckily we beat the storm by about 30 mins but I was stressing on the way home while we drove through rain clouds. So, home we get mel's stuff packed into the truck and head to ed's where no one i home. But I leave him there anyway. By this point I'm feeling very low, tired, hungry and just depressed. I hate stress...its making me not like myself.

So, I get home to curious cats. I'm sure they think I packed him off for good. I eat dinner and then fall blissfully asleep. I awake to find that I've missed class and I'm alright with that. I needed me time...its been a while since I've had a long while to myself. So, I chatted on the phone with a few folks and finally got back on the embroidery.

The good news...I'm done with the embroidery on the hem/cuff bands and the beading is done on the hem band. I got to see The Frighteners which was quite fun and then a show on IKEA which was cool.

The bad news...I think I'm getting sick...ears are super stuffy and my throat is wonky...could just be the lack of sleep/hangover or it could be I'm getting an ear infection. we shall see...
I'm hungry and am debating toast before bed. I have to get up in the morning and set my stuff up in the living room for scribble marathon. I need to finish stuff tomorrow...I'll work until I can't but still will make class (I'll need a break). Ari will be coming over at some point for buttons and stuff and that should be fun. so, here is to a productive friday...its started out that way (at least the first 15min) and I hope to keep it up.

Slept good, got dishes and laundry going and now begins the process of painting in front of the TV!!! Trying to decide if I want to pop in Stargate Seasons 1-2 or just start on movies. Guess I'll find out.

The wind is odd but it was so nice to wake up to the wind chimes of hugeness....sounded so great and the girls didn't wine about food until I was in the shower.

10pm and I'm pooped. I painted something like 10-11 hours today...still not done but maybe 5 hours left... Ari and I hit sushi for lunch and then out to places for mattes and paper for the foam core. OMG does the matte look awesome. Took Ari about 5 hours to do...I'm emailing picts to markov and her so he nows we just didn't sit around and gab.

Almost lost butterfly out the front door after ari left. A grasshopper was too tempting and she rushed out to get it. I (even burdened with a full laundry basket) caught her by the scruff and tossed her back in. The girls are still sitting by the door to see what might jump out.

Barry Bard died this morning. I would like to go to the funeral but there is too much todo on sunday to drive to phx and back. I will miss him and his quirkyness and the books.

Tired of painting but I'm gonna stay up and bead a bit and then get up early to hit homedepot and the grocery store before folks arrive.

Even though I didn't finish the painting I'm most please with it...so pretty. Glad its gonna be hanging in my house.
